ABOUT

I am a theatre maker from and based in Newcastle upon Tyne. After graduating from RCSSD in Theatre Practice, specialising in Design for Stage I moved back to the North East. I've worked across many genres and worked in many projects with participation as an element.

I feel passionately that theatre provides space and time to explore the human condition, current affairs and helps give a voice to some of the most voiceless. I combine my playful imagination, patience and observant nature to produce work that directly connects with my audience. I'm particularly interested in projects with strong social commentary.

In 2022 I wrote, co-produced and designed No. 9, a five star production exploring the aftermath of sexual assault. It was mentioned in Parliament on International Women's Day 2022. Following sold out performances at Alphabetti Theatre we took the show to Northern Stage in 2023, this time partnered with Rape Crisis. We are working on a national tour for Spring 2026.

I’m currently exploring what it means to use my skills in other ways. I find myself facilitating workshops and recently designing websites for other people. I’m currently trying find my steps back to myself as an artist, revisiting old projects and creating new ones. Watch this space as I tentatively reintroduce myself to the world as not only a Scenographer and Theatre Maker but also as a Facilitator, Artist, Graphic Designer and Theatre Producer. I can’t wait!
